Diagnostic accuracy

Accuracy is the only thing that matters.

Subspecialty gastrointestinal pathology built around diagnostic accuracy — fellowship-trained sign-out, collaborative review of the difficult cases, and one unbroken chain from specimen to report.

Why it matters

A gastrointestinal biopsy is a few millimetres of tissue, and its reading decides whether a patient is reassured, surveilled, or treated. Accuracy there is not a refinement on the service. It is the entire value of the test.

Professional services

Accuracy begins with who reads the slide.

Subspecialty sign-out

Every GI specimen is read by a pathologist fellowship-trained in gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology. Dysplasia, subtle inflammatory patterns and early neoplasia are the cases where subspecialty training and general practice diverge most.

Technical services

The fewer the hands, the fewer the errors.

The Lean Lab

A CLIA-certified histology lab inside your practice. Fixation time, orientation and sectioning are controlled where the biopsy was taken — the three places a specimen quietly loses diagnostic information before anyone reads it.

Reporting

An accurate diagnosis, accurately conveyed.

Delivered your way

An online portal with digital images and anatomical maps, or printed, faxed, or integrated directly into your EMR.

Detection

Accuracy depends on what reaches the slide.

Gastro Detect

No amount of subspecialty interpretation recovers a lesion that was never sampled. Brush technology covers a wider mucosal surface than forceps biopsy alone, so what is there is likelier to reach the slide.

Talk to a pathologist before you sign a contract.

Ask what our accuracy actually rests on — who reads your slides, who reviews the hard ones, and how many hands touch a specimen before it is read. Whether the answer is a Lean Lab in your practice or better sign-out on what you already send, the conversation starts there.
